Goodwood Spring Sprint 2007 |

We arrived at Goodwood on a beautiful spring morning to compete in the annual Spring Sprint to be met by a wonderful array of cars that were entered for the day's competition; they ranged from old racing cars through out and out track day cars to modern high performance road cars. Jaguars were well represented with several E-Types and related specials of that period to our XJ-S and another everyday XJ-S. Number 17 (renumbered 69 for the day) performed faultlessly and the times improved through the day giving us a good test before the racing season and a respectable time in the final results. The spint format with a standing start single lap being timed was a bit strange after normal circuit racing but that will start at Snetterton- see you there. |
